Located in the Washington Park West neighborhood of Denver, this Victorian home originally built in 1908 underwent a full interior renovation of the main and upper floors. The approximately 2,867 square foot residence was reimagined to support a more vibrant and expressive way of living, while honoring the historic character of the home.
The clients envisioned a lively interior that embraced color, pattern, and personality. The design intervention focused on creating moments of delight throughout the home through layered wall coverings, bold finishes, and carefully curated details. Ornate fixtures and decorative elements reference traditional Victorian architecture, grounding the design in its historical context while allowing for playful contemporary expression.
Lighting was treated as a sculptural element throughout the project, with fixtures selected to function as functional art pieces that punctuate each space. The resulting home balances historic charm with a fresh, energetic atmosphere, creating interiors that feel both timeless and deeply personal.
